Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to find a job here. This statement covers the public site at this address. Last reviewed 2 November 2026.
Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The site is built to work with a keyboard alone, with screen readers, at 400% zoom, and with operating system settings such as reduced motion and larger text.
What we have done
- Every control has a visible label; filter counts are announced; result counts update politely for screen readers.
- A skip link, one main landmark per page, and a logical heading order.
- Visible focus (a 2px coral outline) on everything you can reach with the keyboard, and tap targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels.
- Text contrast of at least 4.5:1 and no information carried by colour alone: the ring on the line is also described in text.
- The mobile filter sheet is a native dialog, so Escape closes it and focus stays inside.
- The redirect animation is turned off when your system asks for reduced motion; the countdown is 2 seconds and the page also offers a button.
- Filters work without JavaScript.
Known issues
- The destination sites we link to are outside our control and may not be accessible. Tell us and we will pass it on where we have a contact.
- Some listings carry very long titles from the source; we do not shorten them, which can be verbose for screen reader users.
Tell us
If something is hard to use, email [support@domain] with the page address and what happened. We reply within two working days and fix genuine barriers as a priority. If you are not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
How this was tested
Automated checks run on every change; manual keyboard and screen reader checks were last carried out on the search, job and redirect pages at 1280 and 390 pixels wide.
